I'm Patty A. Tress - Defense Attorney

I am the person that will fight for you.

I have over a decade of criminal defense work experience. My road to becoming a criminal defense attorney was not paved with roses to say the least. I put in a lot of hard work as a single mother to get to and through law school.

I attended Hamline Law School in St. Paul Minnesota, now Mitchell Hamline Law School, in order to be close to my family and Native American roots.

Prior to Law School I attended The University of North Texas, right here in Denton, of which I am a proud alumni. Go Eagles!!

Upon returning to Texas, I took the Bar Exam and started a Law Practice. Ultimately, I have landed right back home in Denton, TX.

I am on the Board of Directors for the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, a member of the Denton Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, and the Dallas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. I also work on projects for the Innocence Project of North Texas. I am a board member for Special Abilities of North Texas as well and am a proponent for these issues.
